We are a small family owned and operated furniture manufacturer.  Our goal is to provide you with a nice piece of solid oak furniture at an affordable price.  

When you purchase an item from us you are buying it directly from the maker, not a reseller.   When you call us, you are talking to the people who actually make your furniture and box it up to send to you.

We are a small company located in northern Minnesota.  Uniquely Wood got its start 18 years ago with my parents started selling shelves, little tables  and wood vases at local craft shows.  Over the years that grew that small company into a furniture manufacturing business.  It has grown from doing little local craft shows to having over 600 stores carry some of our items.  A couple of years ago my parents decided to think about retiring and offered me, son John, the opportunity to take the business over for them.  Now they are happily retired and I run the company.  

As I said we are very small.  My wife handles the books, I do a little of everything, my father still helps out when needed and I have two other super employees who help assemble, make parts, stain, finish and pack our items to ship out to stores.

I made this simple little website in hopes of selling our items to the many people looking for nice solid oak, American made, furniture.  We do not have fancy shopping carts or checkouts on this site.  It is just a website showing you all we make.  If you want to order just call or email us and you will be talking to those who actually make the items you may want in your home.

Below are some pictures of our little operation.   I wanted to give you a little glimpse of who we really are, that not all furniture comes from China these days.  Or from giant impersonal companies located in industrial parks in huge cities.  No we could be your next door neighbor, just a small company trying to make a living doing what we do best.
